Over 50% of Fortune 100 companies have employees on the MBA programme. In addition, several large organisations have sent cohorts of students to Edinburgh Business School to take part in the 27 month Consortium MBA, now known as the Executive MBA.
There are several benefits from this study route:
- Cases and class contact time can be tailored to meet the needs of the students on the course.
- There is a structured study route over 27 months for the MBA.
- Students can do a work-related project as part of their MBA.
- Students can build networks with their peers in their own organisations and in other industry sectors.
Cohorts of executives from major corporations including Agilent Technologies, Dawson International, Ernst & Young (Italy), Hewlett-Packard, Lloyds TSB, Pearson Education, the NHS, Scottish Widows and Scottish Power have attended the highly regarded part-time 'consortium' programme that forms the model for our new Executive MBA programme.
