Approved Learning Partner study
Not all students choose to or are able to attend the Edinburgh campus, and not all wish to tackle a whole programme or specific courses as independent self-study learners.
To meet this need, Edinburgh Business School has an international network of Approved Learning Partners, which offer quality-controlled learning and teaching inputs to meet students' needs.
The partners in the network may be public sector institutions, or they may be executive development centres catering for business professionals, or they may be private institutions catering to the needs of students who wish to attend full-time 'taught' courses in a timetabled schedule within a given period (such as 18 months).
The partners are:
- Initially approved by Edinburgh Business School and Heriot-Watt University as being appropriate to offer graduate-level courses.
- Regularly reviewed by the School.
- Compliant with local regulations in their country of operation.
Approval by Edinburgh Business School applies to the individual tutors, and to the teaching schemes on offer to students.
