Craig Robinson BA(Hons) MBA FHEA
Craig Robinson is Acting Head of School, Edinburgh Business School Malaysia and a Senior Teaching Fellow. He oversees delivery of the MBA programme at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, runs the on-campus Economics seminars and is part of the Strategic Planning teaching team. He delivers seminars and macroeconomics simulation exercises for the School at various locations around the world. He is a contributor to the Economics course text and co-author of two industry-specific courses developed for a corporate client of Edinburgh Business School. Before joining academia, he worked as an operations manager for a multinational service organisation.
Roles and teaching responsibilities
Craig Robinson is responsible for the part-time MBA programme at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, and the delivery of Economics seminars at the Edinburgh, Dubai and Malaysia campuses. He is course examiner for Economics and also manages the course website. For the Quantitative Methods course he is an examiner and manages the course website. He is an examiner for Strategic Planning and delivers parts of the Strategy seminars at the Edinburgh campus.

Craig Robinson is a contributor to the Economics course text and co-author of Strategic Planning for the Oil and Gas Industry and Finance for the Oil and Gas Industry.
Areas of academic interest
Craig Robinson's research interests are focused on energy prices and the energy industry. He is interested in the movements of oil prices and also management processes in the oil and gas industry. He has presented conference research on oil prices and their relationship with management behaviour and share prices and is now working on a wider research project in the oil and gas industry.
