Distance Learning MBA in Denmark

I started the MBA course in the summer of 2003, and have completed it as I had planned – in three years.

When I started the course I was working in marketing and sales, and more recently as a team manager. A year and a half ago I was offered a seat on the executive board secretariat at the company I am working with. So my perspective has been both operational and strategic.

I have found the EBS MBA courses interesting, motivating, challenging and – very importantly – useful regarding the positions I have had and have right now.

It has given me cross-functional insight and an understanding that no other education has provided me with in the past. It has also given me a solid foundation from which I can confidently offer quality advice to the executive board regarding matters on very different aspects, such as sales and marketing, finance and organisational behaviour.

I would definitely choose EBS again as I really enjoyed the experience and the hard work.

Hopefully the future will bring challenges within management and possibly also abroad. I'm sure that the EBS MBA will be a great foundation for achieving these goals.

My graduation from EBS dates back to June 2000. Prior to this date I studied the MBA courses for about 4 years, doing my MBA alongside my work as a sales manager.

At this time of my career I was traveling a lot all over the Western world, and it was very difficult for me to follow normal university courses. Therefore I was searching for distance learning programmes and found the EBS programme through a local distributor in Denmark. This way I could do the courses wherever I was in the world, and did not have fixed schedules at a university.

At the same time I found the courses very interesting and very useful in my job. Many of the subjects studied could be used immediately in my work situation.

My MBA has been very useful afterwards in my career, and today I work as Sales Director in a company called Ruko, the Danish part of Assa Abloy, the largest locking company in the world. I went to Edinburgh to participate in the graduation ceremony, which was a very special occasion for myself and for my wife, who travelled with me.
