Working and studying simultaneously really is not an easy task! But it is crucial to enrich my knowledge for business development. I graduated from the Heriot-Watt University MBA in 2003.
Because I got my Bachelor Degree and Postgraduate Certificate in the technical field, I had no strong knowledge about business-related subjects; I think I made a good decision to study this MBA. Although I have been working in the sales and marketing field for more than ten years, this knowledge really played important role in helping me to analyse the raw data for accurate decision making.
The Heriot-Watt MBA is very flexible in the selection of courses as well as the duration for completion. I travel for business frequently, so distance learning is really suitable for me. I always studied when waiting for a flight in the airport, inside the train, subway, hotel room and public area. I called this "Discrete Time Multiplexing": combining separate pieces of time for studying. I found the textbook sufficient to understand the subject. My hardworking effort paid off and I finally got my MBA with distinction. This is really a fantastic experience.
