I first heard about the EBS MBA programme while working as a CEO at a multi-national plant. It was an ideal way for me to progress my expertise in the business area without disruption to my continuing employment. I wanted to augment my knowledge in the business area, as my original degrees were both in science/microbiology. I had two further career moves while studying and the flexibility offered by the distance-learning programme was invaluable to me. I am now happily working in the public service dealing with businesses to promote environmental protection especially waste prevention/minimization. The additional business knowledge acquired by me during my MBA studies definitely improves my effectiveness as a manager in my current position.

When I was looking for an MBA programme I had two main criteria: 1) Flexibility in terms of study and exam times, and 2) A well-recognised and respected university.
On both fronts the EBS MBA met my expectations. Once I looked into the programme in more detail I was amazed at the breadth of subjects on offer, substantially more than any other university I had looked at and all available to study at times that suit your lifestyle rather than an academic term.
I was not prepared to take a year or two out from my career to pursue a full-time MBA but the EBS programme provided the perfect template to help balance the demands of career and postgraduate study.
It offers the best of both worlds…additional, practical learnings that you can put in to practice in the workplace immediately.
The support and back-up from the faculty was superb, at no stage was the 'distance learning' element an inhibitor to anything…all questions were answered promptly and additional guidance and advice given when needed.
For those who want to combine career with gaining an MBA and need flexibility, the EBS MBA programme must come top of the list of any comparable institutions.

I heard about EBS many years ago during the time when I was still in college from my lecturers at the time, who were pursuing their MBA. Five years on, I decided then that I should look it up.
Balancing my career and family life (mother of two young beautiful daughters) is not an easy task. I have a busy schedule. The nature of my job providing supporting role to the wider group in my company means that I need to be available when needed and my working hours need to be flexible.
I realized that if I want to continue to pursue my ambition, I would need a good school which is reputable, flexible with good lecturers to support me around my schedule. I also was looking for course material that is solid and easy to follow for me to be able to do self study and study remotely. This is why EBS distance learning course is perfect for me.
The flexibility is not just around time management, but also my budget. It is not always easy to allocate funds to further my own ambition, when I have young children, but the flexibility means that I was not under pressure to pursue the course within 1 -2 years; I could pace myself, save money and plan my education time.
In my opinion, EBS has adopted the successful business strategy to meet the dynamics and demands of its students need without compromising on quality. I feel that EBS is a modern thinking school that suits my modern lifestyle.
As a result, I achieve what I wanted without making too much change to family life and work life. The knowledge that I gain, especially from my elective course do provide a competitive edge for me in my current role.
EBS came very highly recommended to me and now I'm happy to recommend it to anyone.
