The will to get the “bigger picture" is what drove me to pursuit an MBA program. Credibility and flexibility is what led me to Heriot-Watt, Edinburgh Business School.
It has been a tremendous experience in every sense of the word.
For a mother, wife, a career woman and a person, the journey could be describe in two words: challenging and rewarding.
It took me over 3 years to complete the program, and thanks to the exposure an MBA enrolment at such a distinguished university gave me, I managed to move to the Revenue Management unit of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Regional office in Stockholm, to hold the strategic position of Pricing manager, Denmark & Iceland.
And now that I have graduated, there are no limits...
I would like to thank Edinburgh Business School and its distinguished professors and authors for well structured, flexible, and high standard program.

I took my Bachelors degree 20 years ago at one of the top ranked business schools in the US. And by comparison Edinburgh Business School is world class.
I studied my MBA long distance while attending classes for each module in Sweden. The set up was perfect and I finished my studies in approx. 2 ½ years. I thoroughly enjoyed the studies, it was challenging and the material was immensely mind expanding. I graduated in 2008 and crowned the MBA program by attending the ceremony in Edinburgh in the summer.
Strange as I might seem, I miss the studies and the constant feed of hands on business applicable models and reasoning.
We have an EBS alumni group in Sweden. Besides networking, we stick together as a group and meet at the charter office in Stockholm once a year for updates on the latest courses by EBS.
In summary, my experience of studying with Edinburgh Business School is all positive, I can vouch for the education at any time and I am personally very happy that I choose this MBA program. It has given me insights, confidence and tools that I apply daily both at work and private.

Being a father of 3 with a wife also pursuing a professional career, I needed the ability to study at my own pace, and taking breaks as needed along the way. That is the main reason I chose EBS.
I have been very happy with that decision. I was able to pursue my career, take care of my family, and at the same time extend my skills by studying at EBS.
The required level of understanding and mastery of the course material came as a surprise to me, and passing all the exams took a lot of effort.
During the years I studied, I met some really interesting fellow students, one of which later became my partner in a new start-up business.
Nearing the end of my studies I relocated from Denmark to Sweden, but that did not constitute any problems whatsoever with respect to EBS. I just signed up for my final exam in Stockholn instead of in Copenhagen. No worries.
The broad and deep competencies I have obtained at EBS have helped me a lot, and despite the hard journey I do not regret it for a minute.
