It was indeed an enriching experience.
When I started the MBA I was heading Commercial Banking Department at BOU as a Director. By the time I completed in 2007, I had been promoted to Executive Director Supervision and I am the only lady Executive. This is a second highest position in the Bank after Governor's office.
My MBA has enhanced my skills in providing leadership towards achievement of a strong and sound financial sector in Uganda by application of the Organizational Behavior principles. The MBA has also assisted me in promoting a positive corporate image for Bank of Uganda through application of the knowledge I acquired in the Corporate Governance course.
To all EBS Alumni I say: "Always keep your head up, do the best you can in life and follow your dreams. Everybody has the potential to make it no matter where you come from. Also try to look at every challenge as an opportunity to make you a better person".
When I embarked on my MBA, it was quite a challenge to balance my heavy schedule and at the same time read the books. However, I took it up and here I am; basking in glory with pride.
