Edinburgh Business School (EBS) is the graduate school of business of Heriot-Watt University. We are one of the world's largest providers of postgraduate business education; with more than 11,000 current students and 20,000 alumni in over 160 countries.
We are commited to educating tomorrow's business leaders for tomorrow's markets. To achieve our mission we offer a portfolio of online MBAs and MSc programmes; full- and part-time MBA programmes on HWU campuses in Edinburgh, Dubai and Malaysia; and work with our network of learning partners to offer students classroom-based study options wherever they live.
We are currently embarking on a new strategy, in an increasingly competitive market, under the leadership and direction of the Board and Professor Heather McGregor, our newly appointed Executive Dean.
EBS is seeking expressions of interest from individuals who wish to join the Board as Non-Executive Directors. The Board would particularly welcome interest from individuals with Board level skills, together with financial, IT, academic and overseas experience (particularly in developing countries).
In meeting the required elements of experience and expertise, the Board will seek to achieve a balanced membership in terms of equality and diversity.
Short-listed candidates will be invited to discuss their application with the Chairman and other Board members.
These engaging and rewarding roles are not remunerated, but expenses are paid.
