Dr Abdulkader Mostafa is Assistant Professor in finance, where he teaches various finance courses since joining Edinburgh Business School in 2012.

Dr Mostafa is a member of the Doctorate Research Committee where he mentors and supervises DBA students/ candidates.  

Dr Mostafa completed his MSc and PhD degrees in the field of real estate investment and finance at Heriot-Watt University. His primary research is centred round real estate investment and finance. 
Before joining Edinburgh Business School, Dr Mostafa spent over 20-years working in the commercial and investment banking sector. During his banking career, he participated in a large number of debt and equity market transactions, including corporate lending, project finance, syndicated lending, Islamic finance, corporate restructuring, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, initial public offerings and real estate investments and finance.
