Michael joined TES as a news reporter in 2002 then edited its news and comment pages before becoming deputy editor. He moved across into the technology side in 2013, launching a range of digital projects including the TES magazine and TES Jobs apps for IOS and Android. Michael has worked with the former schools minister Lord Jim Knight, on creating a social learning system for teacher development, creating successful courses with London's UCL Institute of Education and the Open University.
