 Marketing in engineering, commercial radio and United Nations/ Previously worked at several UK and overseas Universities. 
Qualifications: PhD, MBA, BA (Hons, Dip. Marketing, MCIM, Cert F.

What is your current role? 

1 Professor of Marketing and; 2 DBA mentor and supervisor

What does it involve?

1 Teaching in EBS, overseas campuses and in learning partners on the MBA Marketing and Consumer Behaviour courses and examining them, writing course materials for courses –Marketing, Consumer Behaviour and Market Research
2  Mentoring potential DBA candidates proposals and supervising DBA candidates. Also a member of the DBAR Committee

What achievements are you most proud of?

1 First in batch in an MBA and top student in Marketing (University of Bradford 1982). 125 Students
2 Completed a PhD in 15 months and examined without changes (University of Bradford 1984)
3 Leading and winning a bid for a commercial radio franchise (Pennine Radio, West Yorkshire, 1986)
4 Writing and developing TV programmes in Marketing for national television 1980’s
5 United Nations Regional Project Director based in Zimbabwe (1889-1995) and UN Consultant  (to Date)
6 Developed two Masters degrees in Strategic Management and Leadership and Change Management at previous Universities, launched in Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zambia, Namibia and Botswana from 1998 to present with over 2000 graduates to date.

8 Writing best- selling book on Global Marketing Management (with co- author), Oxford University Press

What is the most enjoyable aspect of your work?

Seeing my students, at all levels, succeed in their studies and work

What projects are you working on at the moment?

1 DBA mentoring and supervisions
2 Revising the Market Research course with Jane Priest
3 Re -validating and developing new teaching materials for the MSc Marketing degree
4 Finishing off an article for submission to a learned journal on the comparison and use of mobile apps by Masters students’ in Malaysia and the UK
