Edinburgh Business School celebrates the success of its graduands

This week, Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh campus will host graduations for over 450 Edinburgh Business School students, who have travelled as far as New Zealand, Uganda, Canada and South Africa to collect their academic degrees.

The graduations will be marked over the course of two days (Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd June).

Graduates, their guests and EBS faculty will gather at the James Watt Centre for the main ceremony, attended by Principal and Vice-Chancellor at Heriot-Watt University, Professor Richard A. Williams, before being invited to attend a drinks reception at Edinburgh Business School.

Professor Heather McGregor, Executive Dean of Edinburgh Business School, said:

“Graduation is a momentous occasion in every student's academic journey. This is also a very special time for us, as we mark our students’ success and look forward to hearing about their future triumphs.

“We want our graduates to be proud of what they have accomplished, and use what they’ve learned in the next steps of their life’s adventure.

“Many students commenced their studies driven by a desire to enhance their career prospects, acquire new skills in key areas of business and management, and to develop a strong professional network.

“We hope that their experience at EBS will benefit their professional and personal lives and give them the confidence and expertise to achieve their full potential.”

Heriot-Watt University has been named International University of the Year by the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018
