The programme will concentrate on a range of sectors in which Scotland excels, and are considered priorities by many African Governments, such as renewable energy, education, oil & gas and agriculture.
The highlight of the week will be the all-day Scotland Africa Trade and Investment Meeting on the 21st September, hosted at the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot Watt University.
The objective of the meeting is to promote opportunities to increase trade, investment and knowledge sharing between Scotland and Africa. With presentations, roundtables, one to one meetings and unprecedented access to key decision makers, the meeting will provide high-level information, intelligence and practical advice for those looking to expand existing operations or looking at new markets.
Day passes for the meeting in the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot Watt University will allow access to all of the round tables and seminars and all-day access to the networking areas where the delegations will be on hand throughout the day for private meetings and introductions.
