The Scotland Africa Trade & Investment Meeting takes place in Edinburgh

African Ambassadors from 15 countries will meet at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, to promote a range of opportunities across the African continent on 21st September.

This unique event is the culmination of a 3-day African Heads of Mission programme and is aimed at increasing trade, investment and knowledge sharing between Scotland and Africa.

The Scotland Africa Trade & Investment Meeting, arranged by the Scotland African Business Exchange (S.A.B.E) and sponsored by The City of Edinburgh Council, Scottish Development International and CBI, will bring together the Ambassadors, their trade teams and education attaches.

The full programme, which takes place from 19th – 21st September, will include sector-specific roundtables, focused seminars, private G2B meetings and bi-lateral government meetings.

The delegates will concentrate on a range of sectors in which Scotland excels, and are considered priorities by many African Governments, such as renewable energy, education, agriculture, and oil & gas.

Day passes for the meeting in the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot Watt University will give access to all of the round tables and seminars, as well as all-day access to the networking areas where delegates will be on hand throughout the day for private meetings and introductions.
