EBS’ newest graduates in Dubai came from over 20 countries, including the UAE, India, Jordon, Egypt, Kuwait, Malawi, Zambia, Uganda and Zimbabwe to name a few.
Professor McGregor, said:
“That’s the joy of being part of a truly global university. If you study for your degree with EBS, part of Heriot-Watt University, then you could be studying in Malaysia, Dubai, Scotland, or even at home.
“I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all our graduates. We are extremely proud of your achievement and will follow your careers with interest.
“Business education is a significant investment, in terms of both time and money. But the rewards can make for compelling reasons to undertake this challenge. An MBA or MSc can obviously help professionals advance their careers, but it can also help develop an international network and essential leadership skills.”
Shirin Jarrar, MBA Programme Director and a Senior Teaching Fellow in Dubai, said:
“Graduations are always very special at Heriot-Watt Dubai campus and over the years hundreds of students achieved their dream and gained business qualifications with EBS. I’m sure that graduates who are leaving with business degrees this week will benefit greatly from this experience, as they embark on a new journey in their professional lives.
“We believe Dubai, as the central hub of the Middle East, is a great place to learn about business. This is one of the reasons why we are bringing our students from Scotland to Dubai in January as part of their degree.
“We are also introducing new benefits, including international opportunities, industry engagement and professional skills workshops as part of the newly designed MBA Programme with Entrepreneurship. This programme will start in Dubai from September 2018 and we invite everyone to find out how to apply here:
