This is the second intake for the scheme, which offers office space for up to a year, access to workshops and expert advice. Opened last July by the Duke of York, the Incubator currently hosts nine businesses.
Kallum Russell, who co-ordinates the Business Incubator at EBS, said:
“We invite applications from entrepreneurs who want to come and build innovative businesses.
“We welcome any industry sector, including social and charity-based enterprises at any stage of a start-up, from proof of concept, to early trading. Entrepreneurs who want to join the Edinburgh Business School Incubator should complete the application form by Friday 30 November.”
“Current residents run a range of firms in a variety of sectors, including marketing, construction and energy. This reflects Edinburgh Business School’s multidisciplinary approach towards entrepreneurship education and business support.”
Professor Laura Galloway, professor of Business and Enterprise at Edinburgh Business School, said:
“We are very excited to open applications for the second cohort. We are proud of the fact our Incubator is open to all, and businesses we host include Heriot-Watt University alumni, as well as businesses new to the University.
“The range of talent in the first cohort is very impressive and we look forward to welcoming new businesses, as we expand and increase the number of spaces available in our Business Incubator.”
