MBA graduate committed to building a better future for Scotland's children

Meet Jacqueline Cassidy. Jacqueline won a scholarship to study her MBA in Edinburgh.

Already working in a leadership position and with a young family, Jacqueline wasn't sure about how her dream of an MBA would fit in around her commitments. But, as she puts it, "I had been interested in it for a long time, and the scholarship opportunity was too good to miss."

Determined to make the most of her situation, no spare moment went to waste as she remembers studying around after-school activities for her family:  “I read whilst my children had gymnastics classes, swimming and riding lessons."

Taking part in on-campus seminars and tutorials, Jacqueline thrived on the buzz from her fellow students. "There were so many hard-working, focused individuals from across the globe to share and learn from." She enjoyed her experience so much she's now working towards a pre-doctoral qualification and is enjoying applying her learnings as Head of External Affairs for local charity, Children in Scotland.
