BDO India will be extending their Thought Leadership programme while Edinburgh Business School welcomes the opportunity to work with BDO employees and clients offering busy professionals the opportunity to benefit from their courses that are world renowned for flexibility and transportability.
As a charitable institution Edinburgh Business School brings value-driven global learning solutions to India through its first corporate partnership with BDO which has a strong network of clients in India, and also holds employee welfare as one its core institutional values.
Zulfiqar Shivji, International Liaison Partner, BDO India LLP said:
“Edinburgh Business School would be our professional partner of choice given their wide range of programmes and flexibility to take these courses especially respecting corporate priorities and still trying to find ways to accommodate learning and development as a key personnel development prerogative.”
Mr. Alick Kitchin, Acting Head, Edinburgh Business School, said:
“Our programmes are designed for top business executives who want a globally recognised degree to build the success of their own careers and their organisations. We are delighted to be signing with BDO, which is a global leader in professional practice, so that BDO staff and partners can access our development programmes.”
Edinburgh Business School has 76 active students and 219 alumni in and from India and is aiming to grow these numbers considerably over the coming years.
Among their graduates is Ashok Kumar from Bangalore, a Senior Product Manager in a German multi-national IT corporation. He graduated with the Edinburgh Business School MBA in 2014 – with numerous benefits, both professional and personal:
“My knowledge on topics like finance, economics and strategic planning has multiplied, which is helping me at my work. The knowledge I gained from these subjects has also helped me to take care of my stock investments without depending on a mutual fund manager,” he says.
“I had always wanted an international MBA from a respected university and see it as a long term investment. If you are considering the Edinburgh Business School MBA, it is an excellent course with superb flexibility and you can take exams in top Indian cities and many global locations. But do not take the course if you are not serious about this degree. It demands serious focus and commitment.”
