On Friday 16th October 2015, Edinburgh Business School welcomed over 480 of its students, alumni and guests to a cocktail reception at the Intercontinental, Lusaka.

Edinburgh Business School currently has over 600 students and over 500 graduates in Zambia, many of whom travelled long distances to attend the event. The purpose of the Cocktail Event was to give graduates and current students the opportunity to network and share experiences with one another and meet new friends and re-connect with old ones.

Edinburgh Business School was delighted to have four members of its staff present at the event. Marketing Manager David Kelly spoke of the warmth and hospitality shown to the Edinburgh Business School team on arriving in Zambia and also thanked graduates and students for their continued support for Edinburgh Business School across the sub-Saharan region.

Edinburgh Business School Graduate, Brenda Phiri, gave an inspired account of how studying the MBA had helped her to achieve her goals both personally and professionally.

Finally, Sandford Mupanga, Executive Director of ZICAB, Edinburgh Business School’s Learning Partner in Zambia thanked graduates and students for attending the event, and rounded off the speeches with a well-received hymn. A fantastic evening was had by all!
