Our online PG diploma programme covers key management disciplines through six courses: Delivering Successful Projects, Economics for Business, Financial Decision Making, Leadership, Theory and Practice and Strategic Marketing.
Our course structure allows you to gain qualifications as you progress. On completing your first three core courses, you will gain a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration. A further three core courses will earn you a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration. A further core course, plus two electives will earn you a Masters in Business Administration.
Students are drawn to the PG Dip by its academic rigour, its intellectual challenge and its ability to greatly enhance student career prospects. They’re also drawn by its sheer flexibility. You can study the subjects you want, in the order you wish, and begin and end whenever you choose.
You must pass the six core courses to complete the postgraduate diploma; there's a three-hour exam for each course.
You may be entitled to exemptions from core and elective courses on our masters programmes.
From faculty message boards, past papers and online self tests to peer-to-peer networks and dedicated advisors.
We offer local examinations to all our students. Each course is assessed by a one three-hour examination. You can sit your exams in March, June, August and December.
You can study course-by-course and pay as you learn, or sign up for two or three courses at once. Our fees are flexible.
Our students have lots to say about studying, the Edinburgh Business School experience and life in general.

Typically you will hold a recognised first or second class honours degree, or equivalent professional qualification. But for those who don’t, entry can still be gained by passing three core courses.
We recommend starting with People, Work and Organisations to help students develop a detailed appreciation of factors influencing how people behave at work and how these link to performance.
Did you know that completing an additional core course and two elective courses after your diploma will earn you an MBA?
