Edinburgh Business School and The 30% Club are delighted to announce that for a second year, a full tuition scholarship to attend the full-time MBA programme at the Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh campus, will be offered to an entrepreneurial woman.

You must have received and accepted an unconditional offer of a place on the full-time MBA programme and paid the deposit, before a scholarship application can be submitted
 
Are you eligible? 
 

Applicants should be women who have met the admission requirements, been offered and accepted a place to study on the full-time MBA programme in Edinburgh. 

To apply for admission to the MBA programme; applicants should have a first- or second-class honours degree or equivalent qualification recognised by Heriot-Watt University. English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5, and at least two years’ post-qualifying full-time professional work experience.

Your application essay

As an applicant you are required to write an 800 word essay on the topic:

‘With reference to your own personal aspirations, what does it take for women to become more effective as tomorrow’s business leaders in tomorrow’s markets?’

The scholarship is subject to Terms and Conditions.
 
*The scholarship award does not cover the cost of interim award fees, examination defer or absent fees, travel to and from Scotland (other than the return flights between Scotland and Dubai), accommodation whilst living in Scotland or incidental expenses such as day-to-day living costs.
You should budget approximately £10,000 for accommodation and living expenses.

 
**The scholarship is not open to employees of Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, members of the 30% Club GCC Steering Committee, or anyone else professionally associated with the scheme. 

 

Early Commitment Offer
 

If you accept your offer of a place on the full-time or part-time MBA programme at the Edinburgh campus and pay your deposit on or before the 31st July 2018, you will receive a 5% reduction on the balance of the MBA fee*.

Full-time MBA Scholarship with Santander Universities

Through Heriot-Watt University's partnership with Santander Universities, EBS can offer a scholarship valued at £5,000 to a student enrolling on our full-time MBA with entrepreneurship, in Edinburgh, starting September 2017.

This scholarship is being awarded by the Santander Universidades Scheme, therefore, your home country (prior to enrolling) must be one of the following; Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Germany, Ghana, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, United Arab Emirates, UK, Uruguay, USA and Qatar.

How to apply

You must complete the application form and submit to the Scholarship Office by Tuesday 31 May 2017.

You will be required to submit a 500-word supporting statement outlining why you should receive the scholarship.

You will be required to provide a written academic or professional reference to support your scholarship application.

Evidence of your residence in one of the countries above is required before monies are awarded.

If you are successful you will receive the bursary payments in two instalments, one in each semester of your academic year of study.
