Start your MBA in Edinburgh from September

The Edinburgh On-Campus MBA gives you the tools and knowledge to succeed in business. 

The MBA runs over two years (part time), starting in September. The programme is equally relevant whether you’re starting a new business or looking to develop within an organisation. You'll be supported by our leading British faculty, and graduate with a prestigious British Master’s degree from one of Scotland's most international universities, and receive our ongoing support post-graduation and beyond.

Where are we?

Heriot-Watt University, one of the UK's leading technological universities, lies in the wooded and landscaped acres of Riccarton campus, seven miles west of Edinburgh city centre.

Edinburgh Business School is easily accessible from the M8 and city bypass, and is just a ten-minute journey from Edinburgh Airport. Ample car parking space is available.

Our facilities

Our complex includes dining facilities, lecture theatres and good-quality accommodation. 

The School has two purpose-built teaching theatres that can both take up to 60 delegates. These theatres can be set up in a variety of formats to facilitate lectures/ presentations, or conference-style meetings. 

You'll also have access to the extensive sports facilities provided by the Oriam, Centre for Sport and Exercise.

Our teaching rooms, or 'pods', have six fully-equipped break-out/ syndicate rooms for up to ten students each and are equipped with flip charts, white-boards and WiFi. Each has its own separate lounge for coffee and refreshments.


 

Accommodation

Accommodation is a two-minute walk away, in the Paul Stobart building; a complex of 30 ensuite bedrooms located on three floors, it is serviced by a lift and stairs.

All rooms have king-sized bed, internet access and ample desk space for private study. A private balcony or patio provides the ideal space for quiet reflection after a demanding day of seminars and lectures.

Other features include a television and WiFi throughout the building. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.


Food and drink

The Bistro serves breakfast and lunch, using high-quality ingredients. It serves a meat and vegetarian special, baked potatoes, soup, sandwiches, snacks, tea and coffee daily. There's also a private dining area for groups. Students can also enjoy the catering services offered throughout the campus.

 


Sport and exercise

Our students have full access to the University's Oriam. This includes three halls, one with a climbing wall and another with an artificial surface for five-a-side football and indoor tennis. There are also three floodlit synthetic tennis courts, four conditioning suites and eight squash courts.
